The MTN bulk SMS platform was introduced to Cather for business owners, organization and people who have the need to send out bulk SMS on regular basis, so that they can send these bulk SMS at a cheaper rate.

This service also allows bulk SMS reseller to purchase the SMS units in bulk quantity and at cheaper rate and sell to their own clients and make profits.

The MTN bulk SMS service comes in two different categories:

The first is for prepaid subscribers, and the second category if for postpaid subscribers.

- For prepaid subscribers, the price of ranges from N1.10k per SMS to MTN numbers and N2.85k to other networks for purchase of less than 1 million units to as low as 0.75k per units to MTN numbers N2.60k to other networks for purchases above 30 million units.

- For post paid subscribers, the price for the MTN bulk SMS numbers, and N 2.95K to other networks to for purchases of less than 1 million units to as low as 0.95k per unit to MTN numbers and 0.85k for MTN numbers and N2.65k per SMS to other networks for purchase above 30 million units.
