This device is the first Smartwatch ever to be produced by Samsung. The Smartwatch was built not only to work on its own, but to help you easily access your other Samsung Smartphones.

The Samsung Smartwatch is not just a little mobile device that you wear on your wrist; it comes with special features that differentiate it from other Smartwatches out there in the market. Some pf its features include;

- The devices was built with a 1.9MP camera, the body is made from sturdy stainless steel with rubber strap, the device weights 73 grams, comes with a Bluetooth, a Samsung workout app that serves as a fitness tracker, an alarm, a voice activator, a timer and a battery life of 25 hours when in full use and 150 hours of standby time.

Some things a Samsung Galaxy Gear can do for you include;

- The Smartwatch was built to help you enhance the usage of the following Samsung Smartphones; Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 mini, and the new Galaxy S5. You connect the two devices together using Bluetooth and use the Galaxy gear to fully access your phone; play music, access your phone contacts.

- The Smartwatch alerts you when there is a notification in your Smartphone; either mail, a text message or a voice message. It also gives you the option to reply the message or mail using the Samsung gear or to send a voice message.

- The Smartwatch can also be used as a Call receiver as any incoming calls on your Smartphone will also ring out in your Galaxy Gear. You can choose to answer the call with your Smartwatch instead of your phone.
