Brands of instant Noodles in Nigeria

The market for Instant noodles in Nigeria is a growing one ever since the 1990s when these Asian packaged food products came into country. This could be attributed to the fact that they are cheap, comes with all the ingredients and doesn't waste time to prepare. Despite the fact that it was not generally accepted when it first arrived, it has gradually grown to become one of the most common meals being eaten in Nigeria.
When it comes to instant Noodles, there are of several brands now that are sold in Nigeria and each brand has something unique about it.

- Indomie Noodles: This is the first brand of instant noodles that came into Nigeria and the most popular brand till date. This brand is so popular that it is now the general name for instant noodles in Nigeria. Its packs come in different sizes; there is the very small 70g pack, the super pack of 120g and the newly introduced hungry man pack that is about 220g.

- Dangote Noodles : This is brand of instant noodles is produced by the famous Dangote company. It comes in just one pack size of 120g. This brand of Instant noodles is known for its unique flavour.

- Yummy Tummy: This is another popular brand of instant noodles in Nigeria. It comes in various flavours such as the sea food flavour in a blue pack, the chicken flavour in an orange pack. One other unique thing about Yummy it comes with dry vegetables like carrot, which gives it a unique taste after preparation.
