Why you should stop eating cold food

Any food that is not hot is classified as cold food and some people me included; like to eat cold food because of the short lived satisfaction gives. In as much as cold food does not cause any major harm in the body on its own, people are advised to at least warm their food before eating because of the following reasons;

1. It is easier for the body to digest hot food than cold food: this is true especially for a meal that contains solid fat if eaten cold takes the body time to break down the fats into digestible bits, but if the food is hot the body finds it easier to digest. That is the reason why people from the Orient (Asia) take a glass of hot tea or a plate of liquid soup immediately after each meal

2. It Can Cause Cold: if the weather is cold and you take a cold food, it may induce cold and chills into the your body in rare cases; but eating hot or properly warmed food in cold weather helps to heat up the body and heat up the body .

3. It requires more energy to Digest: Hot food is easily more digestible than Cold food since heat has to be applied to the food in the stomach in order to extract the nutrients for the body. When it is cold, it requires more work for the body to break it down.

3. Cold food easily tolerates Germs and Harmful Bacteria: Germs and bacteria can find their way into a cold food especially if it is not properly preserved, because the temperature of the food is conducive for them and anybody that consumes such food is likely to fall sick. But germs cannot survive in hot food because the temperature of the food is likely to kill them off.
