Signs that your liver is failing

Liver failure is a very fatal illness and the numbers of people suffering from it are increasing as the day goes by. The only way to manage it effectively is if the symptoms of the illness are detected early enough to commence treatment. For this article, I will mention some prevalent symptoms or signs of liver failure; if you notice any of the symptoms mentioned below, it will be in your own interest to see a Doctor as soon as possible to carry out proper test and commence treatment.

1. Swollen Abdomen: one of the easiest ways to detect that something is wrong with your liver is if your abdomen area gets swollen; this swelling up of the abdomen is as a result of accumulated liquid waste in the stomach after a prolonged period of time.

2. Abdominal Pain: one other sign that should make you pay a visit to your doctor for a check up is if you feel consistent pain in your abdominal area which is also as a result of waste built up in the abdomen.

3. Change in Colour of Urine: your urine will turn to a dark yellow colour; though this could be symptom of any other illness, but not be quick to rule of liver failure.

4. Itchy Body: another symptom of failing liver is that you develop an itchy sensation on your skin as a result of lack of fluid flow in the body; and itchy sensation sometimes makes your skin dry and pale.
