Nigerians generally prefer using Mobile phones to using Laptops. They prefer browsing with their Mobile phones than with their laptops, because it is more portable to carry their Mobile device and access the internet any time irrespective of the location, as long as there is a Service Network there. This is reason why there is a higher demand for Mobile Internet Subscriptions than to other internet Services in Nigeria.

Most Network Service Providers in Nigeria make provisions for Mobile device Users by providing them with cheaper Mobile Internet Services for their Mobile Devices. For instance, the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) meant for Blackberry Users.

- Mobile Social Networks: Nigerians love socializing on Social Networks and there are some Social Networks that can only be used comfortably with Mobile phones, For example; 2go and Whatsapp where you have to register with your Mobile phone and phone number. In order to participate, they have to use their Mobile phone with Mobile Internet Services.
