Why early marriage is better than late marriage

A time comes in everyone’s life when they have to plan on settling down with someone of the opposite sex to start a family with the person. The only exception are the religious and single people who have chosen a life of celibacy.

When it comes to getting married, some people prefer getting married early, while other prefer to wait till they have achieved most of their life goals and aspirations before getting married. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, but in this article, I will discuss why early marriage is better than late marriage;

- Early Child Birth: When a couple gets married at an early age and all things are equal, (that is with the absence of any reproductive problem) , they are likely to give birth early. Early children birth, from twenties to thirties is the safest for a woman, but late marriages means late child birth, and a lot of complications and health issues are caused by late child birth.

- Gives the Couple Opportunity to Train Up Their Children: Early marriage gives you the proper strength and energy needed in training up a child or children, and there is nothing that makes a parent more proud than to see that he has successfully trained his children before retirement.

- Enjoy Fruit Of labour: In the African society, we believe that after parent have trained their children; they should be able to take good care of them when they are old and retired. Early marriage, gives parents the opportunity to enjoy their children’s wealth because they will not age and die before the children are established.

- Become young grand parents: Early marriage also makes it more likely for the parent to become a grand parent and even a great grand parent which is not a feat many people get to achieve nowadays. People who get married late are less likely to even become grandparents.
