Why most Nollywood marriages collapse

Over 80% percent of Nollywood marriages collapse within the first five years; just this year alone over 3 Nollywood celebrity marriages have ended in divorce. This article will look into reasons why most celebrity marriages collapse

1. Lack Of Privacy: most married Nollywood celebrities find it very difficult keeping their marriage off the sight of the general public; everything they do in their homes are posted on social networks in the name of keeping their fans informed; lack of privacy brings stress to the marriage especially if you spouse is more of a private person than celebrity.

2. Busy schedule: Due to the nature of their job, actors and actress have to travel often to various locations for movie casting and most times they have to stay in the location for extended periods depending on the number of scenes they have to get involved in; this job commitment puts a strain in the relationship between the spouse (especially, if the celebrity is a female) and children as the celebrity will only get to spend time with his or her family when they are not on set.

3. Infidelity: even the holy Bible condemns infidelity and gives it as the only reason why a man and a woman can get a divorce. Most Nollywood marriages where said to have collapsed because of infidelity; though most of these fidelity rumours are without evidence; it is understandable that as a Star, you get many people of the opposite sex who are ready to fulfill their sexual fantasy on you, and without self control the Star may fall into the trap of infidelity.
