Why female virgins are becoming scarce in Nigeria

Virgins are very scarce in Nigeria today; over 95% of females loose their virginity before they get to the age of 21. This article will look into some reasons why female virgins are very scarce in Nigeria;

1. Lack Of Sex Education: sex education is no longer taught in our schools; even mothers shy away from teaching their children basic things they need to know about and the fact that sex has to be between a married man and his wife. This has helped skyrocket the rate of sex and immorality in our society today, and females loosing their virginity even before the get to know the value of keeping it; the fact is that sex is so over rated in our society today.

2. Pressure In Relationships: there is this mindset in Nigeria that a male or female cannot be whole expect if he or she is not in a relationship, and while in a relationship, there is much pressure from the male counterparts to the female to have sex in order to preserve or carry on with the relationship. If the male counterparts can reduce the pressure they place on our female, that a relationship without sex cannot work, then we will have virgins in Nigeria.

3. Little or No Financial Empowerment For Female: I heard a story sometime, where a female banker in the marketing unit had to sell her virginity to a get a customer signup for a new account in the bank just to meet her financial target for the month; there are thousands of female like this banker who had to sell their virginity to secure a good job or keep their present job. Financial empowerment to females will reduce the rate of sexual intimidation on females.
