It has been said that the two major factors that will determine how a Person will go in the next few years are, First the books the Person reads and secondly, the kind of friends the Person have around him. From this saying, it can be deduced that the importance of keeping the right Friends cannot be over emphasized.

First, your friends will determine your success or failure in life, so it is very important to make your choice wisely when choosing your friends as they are major determinants of your success or failure.

Secondly, when you keep the right friends around you, they will motivate you to achieve more things in life and aim for high goals.

Thirdly, Right friends can stay with you through thick and thin, unlike some friends who are there for goods times and benefits. Right friends are always there to encourage you when you are passing through hard times.

Finally, Keeping the right friend will keep you away from trouble. The saying that ‘birds of the same feather, flock together’ is very through. If your friends are thieves, or drunkards, with time, you will become like they, because as long as you continue to hang out with them, their bad habits will rub off on you with time. Likewise if you choose the right friends who don’t give thoughts to evil ways, they will keep you far away from troubles.
