Clothing is one of the three basic needs of Man apart from Food and Shelter. Everybody wears Clothes to cover their nakedness, as a means of Identification; as most People are identified with their Clothing, and finally to look beautiful. When buying Clothes, you don’t just walk into a Clothing Store or Boutique and pick up any Clothe you see there. There are some basic things to consider or bear in mind when buying Clothes. This article will discuss five basic things to consider before buying your Clothes.

- The Price of the Clothes: This is one of the things to consider when buying a Clothe. The Price of the Clothe usually depends on the material the Clothe was made from, and the Style of the clothing. In all, the price of a Clothe should not be overly expensive, it should be averagely prized. It is not wise to spend a huge chunk of your income to buy a Clothe; some People do that just to feel among, it is very wrong. It is also good to note than a Clothe must not be very expensive to look good on you, a clothe can be cheap and more fashionable

- The Cloth size: You don't just buy any cloth you want without considering the size. Is it a Large, Xtra Large, Medium or small outfit? Your decision would be based on your own size and how you want it to fit you. If you are big sized, it's best not to go for small size. Medium size seems to fit most people.

- How Comfortable the Clothes Feels On you:
This is another important factor to check before buying clothes. Any Clothe you are buying must make you feel comfortable. Comfortable here does not mean the Clothe has to be over sized; it can fit you and still is comfortable.

- Accessories to Complement the Clothes: We have different accessories such as shoes, hand bags, watches and many other accessories, which we wear with our Clothes. Before paying for a Clothe, you should consider if you have the accessories to match them, unless you are planning to get new sets of Accessories for the Clothe.
- Style: It is also important to consider the style of a Clothe before buying it. The style of the Clothe shouldn’t be so outdated, that you will look weird wearing it out. Any Clothe you are buying should blend in with styles obtainable in that particular time. For instance, buying and wearing a pair of flannel trousers will make you look weird and out of place now.

- The Purpose: Each Cloth in our wardrobe has specific purposes they serve. Just like Corporate wears are meant to be worn to the Office, Night gowns or Pyjamas are meant to be worn at home to sleep, Causal clothes are meant for unofficial outings. You should consider the purpose the cloth will serve before paying for it; this will help you know the type of Clothe to buy for each occasion.
